Ultrasound

Take Your Most Important Next Step

Having an ultrasound is the most important step you can take if you have a positive pregnancy test. An ultrasound is a simple and painless procedure that uses sound waves transmitted into your belly to get a picture of your pregnancy. That image will be used to verify your pregnancy and determine if your pregnancy is viable (able to survive). This information will help you as you consider all of your options.

Considering Abortion?

You might not need one

If you’re considering abortion, you should know that as many as 25% to 31% of all pregnancies naturally miscarry. Before visiting an abortion clinic, be sure to receive an ultrasound. An ultrasound will determine if your pregnancy is viable (able to survive) or if you might miscarry naturally, avoiding the need for an abortion.

Get Information

Make an informed decision.

Ultrasounds are important if you’re thinking about abortion. An ultrasound will verify that you’re actually pregnant and determine how many weeks pregnant you are. Different abortion methods are used in different weeks of pregnancy. This information will clarify what abortion procedures and other options are available to you.

Determine Your Options

How far along are you?

Different abortion procedures are used during different weeks of pregnancy. Before you visit an abortion clinic, you’ll need to know how far along you are. If you’re wondering when you might have gotten pregnant or can’t remember when your last period was, an ultrasound will give an accurate measurement of the age of your pregnancy.
